Teens may find trying on numerous tops or pairs of jeans to be a tedious and time-consuming process – especially with their mothers persisting that they try on this and that (usually in styles from last year. Ew...) Well, American Eagle Outfitters is looking to change that this summer when back-to-school shopping rolls around again with their new promotion.

The teen retail clothing store announced in a press release on July 7 that it will be having a new promotion for the upcoming back-to-school rush that will make shopping for new school clothes a little less boring. Because starting July 21 all the way to August 3, American Eagle is offering a cool and fashionable deal: Try one a pair of AE denim jeans and you can get a new smartphone. That's right, folks. Simply try on a pair of their jeans and you can get a new smartphone, as well as a $25 gift AE money card redeemable online or at any AE store.

This promotion allows AE customers to choose from over 40 different phones from T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T. Among the phones that customers are offered are Verizon phones Droid and Ally, T-Mobile's MyTouch 3G and CLIQ, Sprint's Evo, and AT&T's Backflip. The Apple iPhone, however, isn't one of the options. But...there's a zinger to this offer. Though the smartphones are free, the customer would have to pay for a new, 2-year service plan with the phone's provider.
