HONOLULU’S BUSINESS COMMUNITY GETS READY TO MIX IT UP

The city’s business professionals are set to mingle this Thursday at Social Media-Up, an event that functions as an informal occasion to network and interact.

Honolulu, HI, March 2, 2010 – Honolulu’s business community will gather Thursday evening for an opportunity to network with one another.  Social Media-Up, a series of events presented by Technology News Bytes, Vernon Brown and Matt Matsumoto, will hold its second event of the year from 6-8pm at Ka Restaurant and Lounge, located on the second floor of Ward Center at the former site of E&O Trading Co. 

The occasion provides the business community with an opportunity to interact and make contacts in an informal setting.  The local technology scene will be featured, with organizations such as Clear, Yelp, Spae Communications International and Mobile Gamer Guys set to offer demonstrations and operate booths.  Guest speakers will also be present to address the audience.

Admission will be $20 at the door, or $15 for VIPs, and will include complimentary food, discounted drinks, and giveaway bags for VIPs.  Interested parties may register for the VIP guest list at http://www.tnblive.com/social-media-up.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to win prizes through a raffle.
