Mobi PCS has named Haden Kirkpatrick director of product development and Jeff Slarks director of indirect sales.

As director of product development, Kirkpatrick is responsible for the evaluation, sourcing and development of new products for Mobi PCS voice and Hele Wireless Broadband customers.

Most recently, Kirkpatrick served as director of strategic conulting for Motricity, a mobile-content and mobile-commerce provider that he originally joined as global head of product marketing. Other previous positions include T-Mobile USA’s senior marketing manager over the Flexpay product and regional sales director in Los Angeles.

Kirkpatrick attended the University of Indiana and the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has been an active volunteer for a number of organizations with a globalmission, including the Grameen Foundation, which combats poverty, and the Ashoka Foundation, which seeks to build better businesses through social entrepreneurship. He resides in Downtown Honolulu.

As director of indirect sales, Slarks will be responsible for the continued development and expansion of sales through other retailers and through the Mobi PCS existing network of authorized dealers.

Slarks was previously the regional general manager – Northwest region for Cricket Communications, which he joined in 2001 as regional sales manager. Other previous positions include general manager --Washington/Oregon for MCI WorldCom and general manger – business sales for GTE Wireless.

A Kahuku resident, Slarks received a bachelor of arts from Brigham Young University. He is an active community volunteer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
