So you think you know your way around town? Chances are probably not in its entirety. With so many potential routes to get to your destination, there’s probably a few ways you never thought about taking. Well that’s what we found out after spending an intimate week with a Garmin Nuvi 760. The routes we thought were the fastest weren’t and we even found POI’s (points of interest, not taro) like restaurants and stores we would have otherwise ignored. The coolest part is a real-time DTD (distance to destination) countdown that will determine when you will arrive at your final destination, eliminating those guesstimations of “I’ll be there in a of couple minutes” when you really won’t.

The price may be a deterrent for some, but for those looking for a full-featured GPS with traffic (which does not work in Hawaii), text-to-speech, and Bluetooth capabilities, the Nuvi 760 is your best bet.
