To promote its new business applications bundle, Google has decided to advertise the old-fashioned way" via a billboard campaign.
"People don't necessarily think of Google when it comes to how we can help companies," said Michael Lock, director of sales and operations for Google's enterprise division in North America told the E-Commerce Times.
Google's apps have been around since 2007, but the company recently decided to further push their apps, furthering competition with rival Microsoft, who just signed an agreement with Yahoo to challenge the almighty Google search engine.
Google's new strategy comes in addition to worrd-of-mouth and free media exposure on its applications.
