Mobi PCS has named Marcel Bekers vice president of sales. The international wireless industry veteran has over two decades of telecommunications and sales experience in the U.S. and Europe.
As vice president of sales, he is responsible for indirect and direct sales distribution of Mobi PCS products and services, as well as statewide retailoperations through its 12 stores.
Most recently, Bekers served as director of sales of U.S. Cellular’s North Carolina operations. Other previous positions include regional vice president, sales& business development for USA Mobility, chief operating officer and director of operations for Snider Telecom, and regional sales manager for Dial Page.
The Dutch native received a bachelor of business administration from HEAO College (now the Avans Hogeschool) in Breda, The Netherlands.
Bekers is a resident of Waikiki.
