The audio fidelity you get from having a pair of 12” subwoofers in your home or car would be an unfair comparison unless you had a pair of Shure SE100’s in your ears.  As clear as it sounds, the SE110’s are especially strong at delivering bass, however lack the sparkle on the high end of the EQ spectrum. If you're looking for a relatively affordable pair of earphones that can withstand both audiophile scrutiny and physical abuse, give the Shure SE110’s a good listen.
