With today's technology, anyone can create video and post it on the Internet. However, first time videographers often make common mistakes that prevent their video from looking the best it can be. This session will be geared towards the newbie videographer, giving them a solid foundation for creating aesthetically pleasing video, using a few simple rules and guidelines.
Bio:
Eric Baranda is the Online Coordinator for Emerging New Media (ENM), a division of Hawaii Internet & Telecom Publishing, Inc., a 14-year old technology and communications company based in Honolulu, Hawaii since 1996. Eric designs and implements social media marketing strategies and initiatives as well as creates social media content appropriate for client goals, which include written, photographic and video content. Some of his clients include Martin & MacArthur, Wet 'n' Wild, McCully Shopping Center, EyeSight Hawaii and more.
Eric holds a Bachelors degree in Multimedia from Hawaii Pacific University that focuses on the next generation of media where new technologies are partnering with established technologies and creating evolutionary changes. Eric brings extensive experience in video production, graphic design, and web development to ENM. Working for companies such as Olelo Community Television, Hawaii Pacific University, and Leeward Community College, Eric has honed his communications, marketing and promotions skills to use for targeted social media marketing and new media projects.
