Ed would like to discuss recent expansion of Mobi's statewide network as well as new rate plans that will increase value and lower costs for customers. Mobi PCS added approximately 30 new cell sites around the state in 2008 because of its commitment to optimizing its wireless network and ensuring a high rate of customer satisfaction. Mobi has also launched a microwave network that will help it hold the line on costs, a philosophy that the company has had since its inception. In February, the company will also be introducing its first nationwide rate plan, as well as plans that increase value for the customer by lowering prices and increasing features.
Ed Kurzenski has served as Mobi PCS vice president and chief technical officer since 2005 as the company prepared for its Hawaii launch. The industry veteran has 30 years of telecom experience in Hawaii and on the U.S. Mainland. He is responsible for the development and management of the statewide Mobi PCS wireless network, as well as information technology.
