Starting in 1994 as a 2-person operation, Oceanit Maui has grown to 40+ personnel with expertise in physics and astronomy; software design, development, and implementation; systems and satellite characterization; autonomous and robotic operations; algorithm development; multi-source data fusion and analyses; mechanical and optical design, engineering, and fabrication; telescope integration and deployment; and systems integration and testing.

"Natalie has been with Oceanit since May 2007, and is the Maui Senior Site Manager with overall responsibility for all activities at our Maui office. Natalie has a B.A. in Business Administration, an M.S. in Information Systems Management, an Ed.D in Educational Leadership. She has over 20 years of senior management and executive leadership experience in communications and information technology organizations, having recently completed a successful career in the Navy. Positions held include:

  • Exec. Assistant and Chief of Staff, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. Responsible for management, administration, planning and operations of over 8,000 civilian, military and contractor personnel worldwide;
  • Commanding Officer, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Stations San Diego. CEO for communications organization with 700+ military/civilian/contractors in five sites across the U.S.;
  • Program Director for IT, Commander Navy Region Southwest. COO for IT services at seven Naval installations in California and Nevada;
  • Commanding Officer, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Sicily, Italy. CEO for 300+ military/U.S. and foreign civilians. Responsible for providing voice, video and data communications to naval units in the Atlantic/European/Middle East theaters.
