Evan Leong — Co-Founder and CEO of Greater Good Inc, a highly-acclaimed, community-oriented radio show designed to mentor up-and-coming local leaders by giving them access to the candid experiences and life philosophies of the most successful business and community leaders in Hawaii. He also founded Bubble Tea Supply, which distributes Bubble Tea products throughout North America, Hawaii, Guam and Saipan. Mr. Leong currently is the Chairman of the City and County of Honolulu’s Month in Chinatown, is also a member of the Mayor’s Pacific Century Fellows, and sits on the committee for the University Community Partnership, which serves as the community advisor to the President of the University of Hawaii.
Vince Mitchell — President of Online Consulting, Inc. and manages its two divisions, Magnet Media, an Internet Development & Marketing company, and Pacific Digital Signs, Honolulu's premiere digital signage solution
provider. He is an Internet pioneer in Hawaii, having created some of the State's first award-winning, interactive web sites for numerous clients including Hawaii Public Television, University of Hawaii and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Mitchell's 18+ years of IT experience started in the U.S. Air Force, where he managed, operated and created programming for the mainframe computer system of the Pacific Command Control & Intelligence
Support Squadron, a Top-Secret secured facility.
Steve Schoen — Senior Manager of Market Research for Hawaiian Telcom, Hawaii’s only local telecommunications company providing local long distance Internet and wireless and a yellow pages directory. He has over 23 years of experience working in the telecommunications industry, including stints at GTE, Verizon Communications, and at Hawaiian Telcom. During most weekends, you can find him teaching hands-on computer classes at Honolulu Community College and since the 1990s, he has taught C, SQL, database management, telecommunications and e-business classes, both on-ground and online, at numerous colleges and universities in Hawaii and on the mainland.
Scott Murakami — Director of the Pacific Center for Advanced Technology Training (PCATT), which develops and provides training in advanced technology applications that enhance economic and workforce development programs and initiatives in the State of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. He has held a variety of higher education administration positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, including serving as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Hawaii Business College and Provost for the Hawaii Technology Institute. He currently serves as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for the Volunteer Resource Center of Hawaii.
Bill Spencer — CEO of Hawaii Oceanic Technology, Inc., an ocean science company that is developing open ocean aquaculture technology for sustainable and environmentally responsible industrial scale fish farming. He has also been the volunteer President of the Hawaii Venture Capital Association (HVCA) since 1999. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Bill has been a serial entrepreneur since 1979. His ventures have pioneered software applications for server farm management; groupware computing and Internet based medical treatment management. Bill was a founding member of the Hawaii Ecotourism Association, and has served on the executive board of the Hawaii Angels since its inception in 2002. He was recently acknowledged as the Financial Services Champion for 2008 by the U.S. Small Business Administration for Hawaii and Region IX (California, Arizona and Nevada).
